On 15 January, 2015 in Riga representative of Green Bridge Forum Ltd presented the International Conference the Green Bridge Forum 2015: “Building the Bridge to Clean Technologies between European Union and Central Asian countries” to the Diplomatic Economic Club.
Green Bridge Forum 2015 intends to become the most important event in 2015 within the within the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and it is designed to serve as a vehicle for the exchange of ideas, experiences of leading representatives of the industry and promoting sustainable and high-quality environment and employment in the EU, Central Asia and beyond. The Forum will be held during 15 to 18 April, 2015 at the Baltic Beach Hotel, Jūrmala, Latvia and it takes place adjacent to the EU Energy and Environment Ministers’ Council on April 15-16, 2015 in Riga, Latvia
According to Mr. Andrejs Pumpurs, CEO and Founder of Green Bridge Forum presentation to the Embassy representatives of the Diplomatic Economic Club the organizers of the event succeeded to create a great support from the political institutions of the European Union and Central Asia. It is expected that the European Commissioner for Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, the EU and Central Asian Ministers of Environment and Energy will participate in the Forum. Among participants there will be leading manufacturers and investors, experts in clean technology, innovators and researchers, as well as opinion leaders of the EU, Central Asian ((Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan) and other countries.
The members and guests of the Diplomatic Economic club expressed particular interest on the content of Program of the Conference. Ms. Evija Pudane, CFO of Green Bridge Forum pointed that the Forum will be designed in the format where both policy and business level participants will have the opportunity to exchange their experience of policy-design, world trends on innovative technology solutions and practical applications for clean technologies. Organizers of the Forum invite companies from Europe and Central Asia to promote new innovative clean technologies and solutions in the Forum that will facilitate cooperation between the EU and the Central Asian countries in water management, energy efficiency, renewable and alternative energies as well as other reliable, sustainable, low-carbon technologies across the EU and Central Asia region.
