The Green Bridge Forum 2015 is on its way of becoming one of the most important event of 2015 in bringing together high-level politicians, government agencies, leading innovators and researchers, experts, business representatives, manufacturers and investors in clean technology as well as opinion leaders from the EU member states, Central Asia, and other countries.
This is an international forum within the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and it is designed to serve as a vehicle for the exchange of ideas and experiences of leading representatives of the industry, we expect about 250 participants from European Union and Central Asia countries.
The Forum program will include:
- WELCOME AND OPENING DAY – April 15 – it is expected that the EU Commissioner for Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries and the EU and Central Asian Ministers of Environment (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan) will participate in the opening.
- REGIONAL SPOTLIGHT DAY – April 16 – representatives of the EU and Central Asia will discuss the ways how to strengthen environmental governance and enhance cooperation between the EU and Central Asian countries to facilitate green growth activities across the region.
- TECHNOLOGY SHOWCASE DAY – April 17 – will feature more than 20 cleantech companies from Europe looking to connect with Central Asia government and business representatives. We invite your company to take this prime opportunity and become our partner, see our partnership proposal here.
- BUSINESS SITE TOUR DAY – April 18 – scheduled tours to clean technology industry and technology sites in Latvia.

The Forum will be held at the Baltic Beach Hotel – a 5* SPA hotel with a unique location in the dune area and lets you enjoy peaceful relaxation, although it is in the heart of a green resort town on the Baltic Sea – Jurmala and only 25 kilometers away from the busy capital of Latvia: Riga.
